Nanoleaf is unveiling five new Matter-enabled connected home products at CES 2023, including the first-ever connected switches capable of learning users’ daily habits.

The range of commands Sense+ (Sense+ connected switch, Sense+ connected button and Nala learning bridge), the Nanoleaf 4D kit for Screen Mirror with camera and Lightstrip, and the modular and connected ceiling light Nanoleaf Skylightwill all be unveiled at CES 2023 for the first time – offering advanced automations with rich, dynamic and functional lighting to create greater ease, convenience and intelligence in living spaces.

Nanoleaf 4D – Screen Mirror Kit with Camera and Lightstrip

Enhance your entertainment experience with Nanoleaf 4D. The Nanoleaf 4D Starter Kit includes a Screen Mirror camera and a Matter-enabled smart light strip. Thanks to Nanoleaf’s Sync+ technology, you can turn your favorite movies and games into a truly immersive experience. With four Screen Mirror modes and 50 addressable zones on the 5m long light strip, you can customize your entertainment space.

The camera can be mounted on the top or bottom of your TV and the light strip installs easily with the included adhesives. Nanoleaf’s Sync+ technology not only allows you to match the colors of your TV screen, but also syncs all Nanoleaf lighting products for an immersive entertainment experience. Sync+ also helps deliver dynamic lighting scenes throughout your Nanoleaf lighting setup, synchronizing rich, brilliant colors and animations, like “Aurora Borealis,” across the room.

Nanoleaf Skylight Smart Modular Ceiling Light

The Nanoleaf Skylight will be the first Matter-enabled modular ceiling light, giving users full control over the layout and coverage area of ​​their ceiling light. Like Nanoleaf’s best-selling modular wall panels, the company aims to redefine the ceiling light industry by designing the Skylight with square modular panels of RGBW LEDs that can be arranged to create a variety of different designs.

With Wi-Fi connectivity, Skylight provides crisp, functional white light for everyday use and over 16 million dynamic colors for mood lighting, with connected features to adjust brightness, colors, color temperatures and set schedules. Skylight is packed with all the features that Nanoleaf users have come to know and love, including Music Visualizer, Screen Mirror, Dynamic Lighting Scenes, and Grouped Scenes.

This modular ceiling light doubles as a wired border router and features built-in Sense+ sensors to detect motion and ambient light to increase lighting automation capabilities in the home.

Sense+ and “Nala” Controls the Nanoleaf Lighting Automation Guide

Optimize your connected lighting experience with Nanoleaf’s range of Sense+ controls. Matter and Thread compatible, this range includes the connected switch, the connected button and the Nala learning bridge. Equipped with built-in motion and ambient light sensors, these products allow you to customize the lighting in your home to suit your daily routines and personal schedules. The Nala Learning Bridge is also a Thread Border router and can be used as a color-changing night light with a soft glow for those evening downtimes.

The Sense+ range of controls work with the Nala Lighting Automation Guide, which ‘learns’ your preferences based on your daily routines and gives you personalized automations for the perfect light when you want it. Nala’s machine learning technology is enabled through the Nala Learning Bridge and existing Nanoleaf Thread border routers can also be upgraded to Nala bridges. With Sense+ controls and Nala technology, your lighting fixtures can “think and think” for an intuitive, streamlined lighting experience. The Sense+ range of controls won this year’s CES Innovation Award and will launch in Q3 2023 / Expected launch in 2024 for Sense+ connected switches in Europe.

Thread and Matter Compatible Essentials Bulbs and Lightstrips

Essentials bulbs (A19, BR30, GU10 plus a new recessed spot) and Matter-certified light strips are designed for everyday task lighting while offering a wide range of colors to create the desired mood. Essentials Matter certified bulbs and light strips will be launched in the first quarter of 2023.

Nanoleaf’s full line of modular panels and lightbars (Shapes, Elements, Canvas and Lines) can also be updated to Matter compatibility later this year, with an easy software update that will allow install the most personalized smart home of the future.
