The premium applies to all variable contracts. For a fixed contract, the bonuses will only be granted if this contract has been concluded or renewed after September 30, 2021. The measure is not provided for beneficiaries of the social tariff.

In the vast majority of cases, this basic package will be paid automatically, either by a reduction in the deposit invoice or by a payment from the energy supplier into the citizen’s bank account.

However, the bonus may not fall automatically. This can be explained by the fact that the contact details as a customer with the supplier do not correspond to those of the national register.

The FPS Economy specifies on Friday that households which have not seen the color of this aid will be able to contact its services from January 23, but not before. This request for the first basic package (November and December 2022) may be submitted by online encoding, by email or by post, until April 30.
