Commuters waste less and less time in Brussels traffic jams (infographics)

Since the implementation of the Good Move plan, car traffic in the Belgian capital has been a more controversial subject than ever. However, according to the annual report on traffic in the major cities of the world, car congestion is in free fall in Brussels.

VSs every year, the American company Inrix publishes its annual report on car traffic in more than 1,000 cities around the world. The most anticipated ranking of this study is that of the most congested urban areas on the planet. For the second consecutive year, London is the most congested city in the world: the average London driver lost 156 hours due to traffic jams in 2022. Chicago comes close behind, with 155 hours lost. i.e. a level of congestion comparable to the pre-covid period. Paris completes the top 3 of 2022 with 138 hours lost.
