Damien rushes with his car on the ex-companion of his girlfriend and hits him

Friday afternoon, the police of the Basse Meuse were required for serious facts qualified, neither more nor less, of attempted murder.

On the spot, Damien, 40, from Liège, was deprived of his freedom. Damien and his new girlfriend showed up at the home of the lady’s ex-companion, in Oupeye, to pick up some furniture. Things obviously went wrong. The tension was palpable, the tone rose. On the public highway, Damien finally drove his car into his girlfriend’s ex. The scene was filmed and the images show that Damien hit his victim, who bounced off the bonnet before falling to the ground. The versions of the two protagonists diverge.

The versions diverge

The victim reports that he was struck by the bumper of the car before bouncing off the hood and over the top of the vehicle. Saturday, around noon, the magistrate was still not in possession of a medical certificate attesting to injuries and possible incapacity for work.

Also heard, the author of this attempted murder, for his part, explained that it was the victim who had thrown himself on the hood of his car and that she had thus made the cinema.

Saturday morning, Damien was brought to the Liège courthouse where the magistrate on duty put the file to the instruction by requesting an arrest warrant.
