Energy prices: fixed contracts are slowly making a comeback

Luminus, which had been the last energy supplier to abandon them, is again offering fixed contracts to its customers.

“If prices were to fall sharply in the coming months, a fixed contract could (however) prove to be expensive,” warns Leen Vandezande, spokesperson for the Flemish electricity and gas market regulator (Vreg).

Other energy suppliers are still waiting before deciding.
