JBarely three months after abandoning fixed contracts, energy supplier Luminus decided to return them from January 1, the market having stabilized sufficiently, report Thursday The standard, The newspaperthe Antwerp Gazette and The importance of Limburg.
“Anyone signing such a contract should take into account that it will take at least 30 days before the energy is delivered,” Nico De Bie, a spokesman for Luminus, told newspapers. This waiting period could go up to 90 days.

“If prices were to fall sharply in the coming months, a fixed contract could (however) prove to be expensive,” warns Leen Vandezande, spokesperson for the Flemish electricity and gas market regulator (Vreg).
Other energy suppliers are still waiting before deciding.
