QA few winter showers interspersed with clearings will drag on our territory Thursday afternoon, warns the Royal Meteorological Institute (IRM). The maxima will be between 0 degrees in the Hautes Fagnes and 6 degrees by the sea, in a light to moderate wind.
In the evening, the weather will generally become dry in most regions except on the Coast where winter showers or even snow will be possible. Overnight, freezing fog and ice patches will form in many places. The minima will oscillate between -8 degrees in the Hautes Fagnes (even less in certain valleys), -3 degrees in the center and slightly positive values by the sea.
After a night marked by almost widespread frosts, the day on Friday will begin with a few rare gaps, numerous low clouds, mist or freezing fog. Then, the clearings will gain ground. The weather will generally remain dry with temperatures between -3 and 5 degrees.
Friday evening and the following night, freezing fog will quickly re-form over many areas. In the first hours, a last winter shower may still affect the far west of the country. The wind will generally be weak from variable direction. Temperatures will dip to -12 degrees in the Hautes Fagnes (or even less), -3 degrees in the center and values close to 0 degrees at the coast.
Greyness, sunny spells and winter showers will also alternate next weekend, with freezing temperatures in some places, ranging between -5 and 5 degrees.
