SAccording to Koen De Leus, the chief economist of BNP Paribas Fortis, if there is nothing to jump to the ceiling either, the economic situation in 2023 will ultimately be more lenient than expected. In an interest rate environment that has been totally reversed compared to the past ten years, there are new opportunities to invest.
The Belgian economy held up well in 2022: according to the National Bank, more than 100,000 additional jobs were created. Should we nevertheless expect a recession in 2023?
