VSn Thursday, the European Parliament, meeting in plenary session, voted to lift the immunities of Marc Tarabella and Andrea Cozzolino. The two MEPs are also temporarily excluded from the Socialists and Democrats (S&D) group.

Marc Tarabella, present at the meeting on Thursday, had also declared that he was going to vote for the lifting of his own immunity. He said he was calm in the face of the media, present in large numbers for the plenary session which opened at 11 a.m. Leaving the plenary, he said he was “happy” that his immunity was lifted. “This will allow me to express myself in front of the investigators. »
