The price of electricity continues to fall, that of gas rises slightly
The fall in prices is the consequence of windy weather which favored the production of wind energy, while many companies are closed during the holidays and therefore do not consume. These conditions combine with mild temperatures.

In terms of gas, a slight rise was observed on Thursday on the TTF stock market. For delivery in January, we were around 84 euros per MWh in the middle of the day. We were under 80 euros on Wednesday. However, prices remain at a low not seen since the Russian invasion of Ukraine at the end of February.
Lower prices on the wholesale markets will only have a delayed impact on private bills.
